Newsletter Manual
The Click-IT newsletter module is supplied as an optional extra feature for those who require this advanced facility on their website. If you do not currently have this module then please contact Click-IT sales to ask for this feature to be enabled on your website. Please note there is a one-off cost of £29 to install this module.
Schedule your Message Posting Times
Sending emails can be very time consuming if you have to wait for them to be sent, so this newsletter allows you to decide when you want them to be sent and it will post them at that time, even when your computer is switched off.
Once you have saved your message you are presented with the next screen which allows you to set the date and hour when you want the message to be posted. Simply enter the date under Send Date Time (as dd-mm-yyyy) and select the hour. Then press save. Your message will then be sent at the scheduled time. You do not need to be logged in or have the computer switched on. This is an automated process that runs on the servers remotely.
Note: If your group has less than 20 members then you will have the option to send the message instantly.

You can also send your message instantly to one email address which is useful to test your message (ie: send it to yourself to see what it looks like).
Adding a Page Link
You can insert a page link to any of your current web pages by selecting the page from the Select a Web Page option. This will auto-insert the full page URL below your message text.
Sending to Other Groups
If you want to send this message to other groups, simply select the group in the Select a News Group option. You can then set a scheduled time for that group.
